Re: Ken Griffey Jr. was more than you are describing. Zero steroids in the steroid era (could someone get a pee test from A Rod, please. He broke his wrist twice and still put up HOF numbers. After his friend Payne Stewart died on that jet, he freaked out,and he wanted to be closer to home, so he went to Cincinnati. I knew that this would be the end for him. An authoritative book came out after he retired. It had chapters on the 50 greatest baseball players of all time and Jr was in it.
