For thousands of years we’ve pondered the meaning of dreams. Dreams offer insight into our subconscious. Dreams help us process emotions and organize our memories. Most of us live our waking lives giving a sort of performance. Whether through dishonesty, embarrassment, or simply by being polite, there are thoughts we do not share.**Dreams have intrigued us for thousands of years. They provide a peek into our subconscious. They aid in managing emotions and arranging our memories. We often perform in our awake state. We might be dishonest, embarrassed, or just polite. Thus, we keep some thoughts to ourselves.** Dreams, on the other hand, offer a platform where these suppressed thoughts can freely roam. They are the uncensored version of our minds, a place where our deepest desires, fears, and secrets can come to light without the fear of judgement or consequences. Dreams also serve as a mirror, reflecting our inner state of mind. They can hint at unresolved issues, unfulfilled desires, or even potential future scenarios. They can act as a guide, helping us navigate through the labyrinth of our thoughts and emotions. Moreover, dreams can be a source of inspiration. Many artists, writers, and scientists have reported getting brilliant ideas from their dreams. They can stimulate our creativity, encourage problem-solving, and even help us prepare for future events. In conclusion, dreams are not just random images that appear during sleep. They are a powerful tool that our mind uses to process information, manage emotions, and explore the infinite possibilities of our imagination. They are an essential part of our cognitive and emotional well-being. While you sleep, your inhibitions disappear. And you’re left with the raw, unforgiving truth. The real you. But dreams can be more than that. Some claim dreams are the realm between ours and the spirit world. Some dreams can predict the future. Studies have shown that dreams can be shared between people. Lucid dreaming is when *you* – not your dreaming self, your conscious self - controls the dream. You are, literally, a God. The universe is your playground. It’s exhilarating and powerful. But there is a dark side. What if: while lucid dreaming, *you* weren’t in control of the dream? But, someone else was?  That’s no longer a dream, it’s a nightmare. And it’s no longer a playground – it’s a prison. Every night, the lights go out, you close your eyes, and he’s waiting for you. #Dreams #EverDreamThisMan #LucidDreaming
This podcast dives into the mysterious Havana Syndrome illness afflicting diplomats. We explore the strange world of infrasonic sound waves below the range of human hearing. These inaudible noises can induce anxiety or even sickness in people.  What causes these bizarre symptoms? We uncover a range of natural and artificial sound sources that emit these creepy frequencies. From wind turbines to weapons, the effects are unsettling. The story begins with a ghost hunt in a haunted lab. One scientist's quest to explain the paranormal leads to an unexpected discovery about sound. Tracing clues from here, things turn surreal as we enter the realm of acoustic specters and sonic warfare.   Be prepared as we venture behind the veil of audible perception. Our journey reveals how sounds we can't hear still impact our minds and bodies in surprising ways. Havana Syndrome is just one mystery we'll attempt to demystify regarding the potent influence of creepy frequencies.
Embark on a gripping journey with the Knights Templar, tracing their evolution from the Crusades to becoming the keepers of extraordinary secrets. Their narrative intertwines with the lore of Atlantis, suggesting they possessed knowledge that could redefine history.  Explore the Templars' influence over medieval Europe, their mysterious rituals, and the relentless quest for sacred relics. This narrative peels back the layers of time, offering a glimpse into the power struggles and the quest for eternal wisdom that have captivated imaginations for centuries.  Discover how these medieval knights are linked to the foundation of modern mysteries, inviting you to question what lies beneath the surface of our past.
Imagine the possibility that life on Earth didn't start here, but arrived from the vastness of space. We explore the captivating concept of panspermia, which suggests microbes traveling across the cosmos could be the ancestors of all life on our planet.  This journey takes us through the scientific arguments supporting this idea, and the skepticism it faces. We'll also discuss how recent discoveries in space exploration and biology are reshaping our understanding of life's origins.  The notion challenges our perspective on humanity's place in the universe. Join us as we navigate this intriguing and potentially revolutionary idea, opening doors to a new understanding of our cosmic neighborhood.
Edgar Cayce—the 'Sleeping Prophet'—discovered his psychic gifts as a child while doing peculiar things like sleeping on his textbooks. When sick, Cayce would perform self-healing while hypnotized. His uncanny ability to diagnose and cure ailments turned him into a reluctant medical clairvoyant. He helped thousands, yet doctors, family, and investors looked to exploit his talents. Cayce fought to maintain virtue. He established a holistic hospital and pioneered integrative therapies still used today. However, his benefactor abandoned him at the onset of the Great Depression. Later, Cayce's visions chilled, predicting events like WWII, JFK's death—and a coming global catastrophe that remakes continents and drowns billions. Was Cayce authentic? There are doubters, yet he brought comfort and progress. His selfless character merits applaud regardless of his powers. The virtues he lived are what humanity needs now.
In this intriguing exploration, we uncover the mysterious world of numbers stations. These enigmatic radio broadcasts, dating back to World War One, have transmitted coded messages to spies across the globe. Despite technological advancements, these stations are surprisingly active today. We explore (and listen to) the eerie broadcasts from the Cold War, where peculiar melodies and robotic voices in various languages hinted at clandestine operations. This journey through espionage history and technology promises to be both fascinating and chilling.
Humans are the apex predator. Not *an* apex predator. *The* apex predator. Other than a handful of bacteria and viruses, there’s pretty much nothing stronger, more intelligent, or more adaptable than Homo sapiens.  Telling the human story from the beginning is difficult.   It was a time when two words defined our world: fear and violence. It was a time when we were *not* the apex predator; we were their prey. We emerged from our caves during the day. Hoping we wouldn’t be hunted by the monsters in the woods. So vicious were these monsters they still live in our myths -- and our nightmares. They created a generational trauma embedded into our DNA over hundreds of thousands of years of evolution.  These creatures were stronger, faster, and (when it came to combat) more intelligent than we were. It’s a miracle any of us are even here.  This is the story of how modern humans conquered the monsters and won the battle for the world. But here's the thing: those fearsome monsters defeated by humans? Were other humans.
Embark on a journey to the frigid landscapes of Antarctica with "The Why Files" as we uncover the secrets of Operation Highjump. This mysterious military operation, led by Admiral Richard E. Byrd, has sparked decades of speculation and conspiracy theories. What were the true motives behind this expedition? Rumors of hidden Nazi bases and unknown technologies linger amidst the icy silence. Explore the enigmatic reports of UFO sightings and delve into tales of hidden civilizations beneath the ice. Join us as we navigate through a labyrinth of myths and facts, seeking answers to one of the 20th century's most intriguing mysteries. Uncover the truth with us in "The Why Files" – where legends and reality meet.
Eerie mysteries lurk beneath the waves. Recent discoveries have challenged what we thought we knew about the seafloor. Strange structures litter the deep—from a Baltic anomaly that resembles a crashed UFO, to an enigmatic road in the Bahamas that resurrects suggestions of Atlantis. What other oddities swim in the unmapped darkness below?  Professional explorers use cutting-edge sonar and robot subs to uncover the ocean’s hidden past. But secret forces seem determined to conceal the truth. Equipment fails, funds evaporate. Some believe shadowy bases dot the seabed—each hiding explosive revelations. Will disclosure ever surface? Or will the aquatic aliens that occupy these aquatic lairs continue to elude our grasp? What will it take to part the murky veil?
You wake up surrounded by loved ones. But this reunion carries a dire warning: you can't stay. Your time here is limited. A searing pain rips through your body as you gasp back to life in a hospital bed. You were dead just moments ago. This phenomenon is called a near-death experience. Countless people report leaving their bodies upon death. They recount bright lights, visions of heaven, and conversations with spirits. This happens across cultures and belief systems. But what explains these common threads? Are near-death experiences proof of the afterlife? Or could they be explained by science? Recent brain scans of dying patients revealed surprising surges of activity after death. Their final, mysterious moments suggest more questions than answers about what lies beyond.
In August 1988, Paul Bennewitz had a mental breakdown, convinced of an alien and government conspiracy against him. His supposed proof of UFOs over New Mexico drew the attention of an Air Force counterintelligence agent. This agent fed Bennewitz's belief in aliens for years, ultimately leading to his institutionalization.  The summer of 1952 saw a flurry of UFO activity over Washington, D.C. Edward J. Ruppelt of Project Blue Book seemed the only one taking it seriously amidst bureaucratic obstacles. After a scientific panel recommended downplaying UFO reports to avoid hysteria, Ruppelt retired. His subsequent book criticized the change in UFO policy. Both he and Bennewitz asked too many questions.
Exposing Underground Alien Bases: CIA's Psychic UFO Hunters During the 1960s and 70s, the United States and the Soviet Union fought the Cold War on many fronts. Some of these engagements were obvious, like the Cuban Missile Crisis and the proxy wars in Asia. Other conflicts were not so obvious. In the 1970s, America and Russia engaged in a new type of warfare: psychic warfare. The CIA was actively recruiting and training people with a natural talent for remote viewing. Remote viewing is projecting your consciousness to anywhere on Earth and beyond. One remote viewer, entirely by accident, found himself at Mount Hayes in Alaska. Mount Hayes is in the middle of nowhere. There's no civilization for miles. But something was calling him to the mountain. Then he looked *inside* the mountain. There was a base hidden inside Mount Hayes. Then he saw - this was not a base built by humans. When multiple sources confirmed the existence of the base, they soon realized: this was only the beginning.
In this intriguing exploration, we uncover the mysterious connection between Nikola Tesla's groundbreaking experiments and the catastrophic Tunguska Event. Was Tesla, the master of electricity, responsible for one of history's most baffling explosions? We also dive into the theory of the Great Pyramid serving as an ancient power plant. Unravel these enigmas with us, as we stitch together history, science, and legend to reveal truths hidden in plain sight. Be ready to question what you know about the past and the potential of technology.
Imagine a quaint cottage in Dodleston, where Ken Webster, a teacher, encounters a bewildering phenomenon. Unusual messages appear on his computer, supposedly from someone living in the same house, but in the year 1541.  As the communication evolves, Ken and his friends grapple with the mystery, oscillating between skepticism and belief. The narrative unfolds with peculiar incidents, intriguing historical inaccuracies, and a cryptic entity known as 2109, leading to a cross-time dialogue that challenges the boundaries of belief and reality.  This story weaves a compelling tapestry of mystery, history, and the unexplained, inviting the listener on a journey through time and the unknown.
This episode takes you on an intriguing exploration into the life of Aleister Crowley, a man surrounded by mystery and conflicting tales. Unravel the complexities of his character, separating myth from reality. Join us as we delve into the lesser-known aspects of Crowley's life. This podcast promises new insights into one of history's most enigmatic figures, revealing stories that challenge what you thought you knew.
No place on earth is steeped in more mystery than Mount Shasta. Aliens, ghosts, underground bases, and interdimensional portals. Check. Lost cities, strange disappearances, bigfoot, gods, and demons. Check. Atlantis, Lemuria, reptilian humanoids, and giants. Mount Shasta has it all.
Enoch warned the Giants and the Watchers of the world. Repent or feel God's wrath. They ignored his warning. The floodgates of Heaven burst forth and water rushed over the Earth, destroying everything.  The only thing to survive is a single vessel, a huge ship: the Ark.  5 months later, the waters receded and the Ark made ground on a mountaintop. A man named Noah emerged, and civilization began again. Some version of the Noah's Ark story exists in almost every religion and every culture on Earth. But did Noah and the Ark really exist? There's evidence that they did. So much evidence, that it was classified by the CIA for almost 50 years. But why classify it? Well, there are two problems with the Noah's Ark story. One, the Ark is much older than anyone thought. And two, the man named Noah? He wasn't a man. At least, not a man from Earth.

You asked who started life. God. God started life. I would love for you to do an episode on creationism. To some, it could be considered paranormal.

Hi AJ I'm from South Tyrol (we speak german and italian) and work as nurse in a rehab for psychosomatic and addiction illness. I have to admit, that I was crying while listening to what they did to those victims. I'm horrified! In my career I once witnessed a ECT (it's in use for therapy resistant patients) with miraculous results for a woman with schizophrenia. Fortunately it's performed in anesthesia and with muscle relaxant - shouldn't be so traumatizing anymore. Thanks for your amazing show!
