What an incredible survival story... Equally amazing is his reaction to the bear attacking him: "Yeah, that kinda hurt" 😝

FYI, HE didn't give you any of the good things in your life. HE didn't make you any of the good things you are. HE got in the way of you getting those things and being that person for years while HE mistreated you and gave you scars. YOU have 2 strong, beautiful daughters because YOU raised them to be that way. YOU are successful and loving because that's who YOU choose to be, and who YOU would have always been. STOP giving him credit for anything good.

I'm glad at least one person in that boat knew first aid! Too bad that was the same guy who was rapidly losing blood... (Notably, men are far more likely than women to faint at the sight of blood).

Yuck... the husband and wife have a messy, messy relationship... I just can't see the attraction of getting involved in that, no matter how hot/interesting/rich the guy is

What an incredible story! And the way she tells it is enthralling. Some people are just gifted storytellers, and Ms Nemat is definitely in that camp. There is such wisdom in her words

I am in awe of his bravery for the courage it took for him to stand up to a whole congregation of adults as a teenager and tell them that what they were doing was wrong. People say that religion is a force for good... But none of the good it does is unique to religion. Feeding the hungry, helping the poor & needy, etc. are all things that can be done just as well, if not better, by secular organizations. But the scale and scope of the psychological damage inflicted by religion is unmatched by any other organization or entity.

What an incredible story. I have so much respect for Jane and the strength it took for her to fight off a serial killer and then reclaim her life. How disgusting that anyone would troll this woman for what she went through. It just goes to show that trolls are the scum of the earth, putting their own defective and emotionally crippled psyches on display for all the world to see. Also, it is a MYTH that you "have to" forgive. Some things can never be forgiven, and it is not necessary to forgive in order to move on.

What a perfect story for the season finale! She and her baby survived a serial killer! This story will give you hope that you, too, can survive even really horrific stuff.

what a shame. the actions of one person just messed up people's lives like that. it was super selfish of her and she should apologise. they would probably be fostering and helping other kids but thanks to her they're traumatized. I hope she gets help
