It's said that in sacred areas of certain Hawaiian islands at night you can hear the marching of ancient ghostly warriors, and if you're unfortunate enough to cross them there can be deadly consequences. This is the story of the huaka'i pō.Support us on Patreon.com/ThisParanormalLife to get access to weekly bonus episodes!Buy Official TPL Merch! - thisparanormallife.com/storeFollow us on Twitter, Instagram, and YouTubeJoin our Secret Society Facebook CommunityIntro music by www.purple-planet.comResearch by Amy GrisdaleEdited by Louis Blatherwick Hosted on Acast. Irish folklore is full of magical and fantastical tales. Whether it's banshee, giants, leprechauns or phantom islands, we tend to think of them as myth - evidence of a beautiful oral history but nothing physical. But if they are only myth, why does the legendary land of Hy-Brasil appear on dozens of maps from around the world dating back to the 14th century? Could it be real? Could it be evidence of Atlantis? What would it take for you to explore deep into a haunted and cursed abandoned hospital? £10? £10,000? The promise of eternal life? A packet of Hob Nobs? School, bullies, learning to tie your shoelaces - being a kid is hard enough without also accidentally witnessing one of the 20th century's most shocking and convincing UFO landings. Unfortunately for Nadine and Nevan Kalp, this life was forced on them when they saw a giant acorn scream across the sky on fire, landing in their back garden. What would follow was a storm of police and military interest, and potentially one of the biggest coverups in This Paranormal Life history. VOTE FOR THIS PARANORMAL LIFE IN THE IRISH PODCAST AWARDShttps://www.theirishpodcastawards.ie/vote/Support us on Patreon.com/ThisParanormalLife to get access to weekly bonus episodes!Buy Official TPL Merch! -  thisparanormallife.com/storeMedium articlehttps://medium.com/truly-adventurous/project-poltergeist-745f2d498849Follow us on Twitter, Instagram, and YouTubeJoin our Secret Society Facebook CommunityAdvertise on This Paranormal Life via Gumball.fmResearch by Amy GrisdaleEdited by Kami TomanIntro music by www.purple-planet.com Hosted on Acast. All life's great mysteries involve triangles. The pyramids: how were they built? Pizza: why is it so delicious? And the Bridgewater Triangle is no exception. Rivalling even the infamous Bermuda Triangle, the Bridgewater Triangle contains a paranormal smörgåsbord - cryptids? You got it. Satanic cults? Of course! Ancient scriptures? A thousand times, yes! We've all heard stories of UFOs, floating in the distance, drifting elusively in the night sky. But what happens when you try and chase one down? Well, in 1948, Captain Thomas F. I mean… we did totally screw over and in some cases completely decimate the native population, and then we RUINED the land, so I wouldn’t be surprised that something is taking revenge.

Does anyone know which episode the (first?) clip is from. About an Irishman tricking the devil to climb a tree. "get in me pocket!" had me cracking up and I want to go back and listen to it again.

I used to have a picture of BEK at Myrtles plantation in Louisiana. CREEPIEST picture I have ever seen. They were looking out at us from a window of the house, nose up was the only part visible. Black ovals where their eyes were supposed to be. My mom deleted the picture. BUT the murdered children were reported to haunt the room we captured them in.

Love listening about the paranormal, but most other podcasts take it too seriously. These guys take an interesting and normally dark topic and make it more light hearted and fun to listen to. I work in an old and creepy hotel at night and listening to this podcast keeps me entertained

Could be a great podcast, but the incessant chatting/yelling between the hosts kinda ruins it. The subject matter is interesting, but they don't focus on it as much as they could...
