Life is freaking hard. We are all doing hard things every single day – things like loving and losing; caring for children and parents; forging and ending friendships; battling addiction, illness, and loneliness; struggling in our jobs, our marriages, and our divorces; setting boundaries; and fighting for equality, purpose, freedom, joy, and peace. On We Can Do Hard Things, Glennon Doyle, author of UNTAMED; her wife Abby Wambach; and her sister Amanda Doyle do the only thing they’ve found that has ever made life easier: Drop the fake and talk honestly about the hard things including sex, gender, parenting, blended families, bodies, anxiety, addiction, justice, boundaries, fun, quitting, overwhelm. . . all of it. We laugh and cry and help each other carry the hard so we can all live a little bit lighter and braver, free-er, less alone. This host just can’t let it go. These parents cannot be compared to other parents with troubled children “who are doing their best” because these parents did nothing when all the indicators were there. They actually did the opposite! I feel for Ethan. If he had parents who actually were ‘doing their best’ then this whole thing may not have happened. He was asking for help and no one helped him, not even his parents.

Tired of the host asking every guest’s opinion about this topic, really just so he can voice his own opinion. He keeps referring to Ethan as a “person” in terms of ownership when really he’s a minor/child. In this particular case, the parents are 100% at fault which is why she was found guilty! This case is a necessary one if we are going to move towards societal responsibility to keep children safe.

I have no idea what the host is talking about, they didn’t explain the case. Sounds like lazy chit chat amongst friends. Writers could do much better.

the jury said the 404 evidence made no difference. it was the kennel video. She says she's not insulting the jury then proceeds to. Juries have common sense. of course they threw the jury under the bus

An African American mother was at work when her boyfriend killed her child and yet the she was charged with neglect. But, this husband ( I feel the husband is a family annihilator who throw his wife out the window and killed the kids) gets millions from crowd sourcing. He left the house knowing his wife was going through some mental shyt and he didn't give damn because now he's free.

EVERYONE who had the authority to prevent this from happening, but chose to ignore the truth, are accomplices to this sweet child's torture and ultimately his death. Being a police officer doesn't offer free passes to do what this 'dad' (a term I'll use ONLY to show relation) did to his own children...or to anyone else. I hope 'dad' lives well past 100 so that he can endure the lovely scenery and all of the extracurricular activities that prison has to offer 😏.
