Description
Blake Elrich, an urban explorer with a haunted past, travels the country in an old RV with his partner and producer Lazari. At every stop along their journey, they encounter an inexplicable occurrence—something that could not be happening. I love the show, I really hope season 2 isn't a pipedream, because S1 delivered in a big way for me. I really love when a show can start with a slow burn, and pivot to heavy action. Like Minnow Beats Whale shows, this one gives the premise, expands upon it in a semi-journalistic way, but unlike them provides a satisfying finale that still leaves room for more, because MBW shows rarely have satisfying endings, series finale(perhaps) or not. I don't hate the MBW/Parcast/PRA, whatever, method, as they do provide a lot of content, they just have a rigid formula/format that pervades every show, and seems to hinder them because every show aims for, and alters their goal for scepticism, aside from Rabbits, which seemingly accepts the weird without too much question aside from the quasi-journalistic ones. Even Faerie seems to dodge the paranormal bullet at the end. Even the most recent season of Tanis couldn't end on a tidy 'maybe we'll go on, maybe we don't have to' note like this did. They l
Why is Lizaris' voice like it is? it's like she's a droid or something...
I love this podcast so far, and this was finally an episode that sort of had a resolution.
