In episode 143 of our SAP on Azure video podcast we talk about Advanced Settings with the SAP CDC Connector and SLT and the upcoming Sapphire. Then we welcome Martin Fischer and Abesh Bhattacharjee from Neptune Software.
In previous episodes we have often talked about low-code and SAP. In most cases that meant Power Platform and SAP. However, there are obviously lots of other solutions out there. SAP has their own low-code solution with SAP Build -- and there are some great ways to integrate. But there are also other partners: like Neptune Software. They also offer a very interesting suite that enables customers to build low-code solutions -- and integrate and connect with Microsoft 365 and Azure.
Martin and Abesh show us what the Neptune platform is and how it can be used to integrate with Microsoft 365, Azure service and Power Platform.

In episode 142 of our SAP on Azure video podcast we talk about the DSAG Investment Report 2023, Zone Redundant Storage for Azure Disks, Power your business with AI, Microsoft AI SDK for SAP and Power Platform being more than just a toy.
Then we focus on Power Platform and SAP. One of my recommendation to customers is always to use Single Sign-On when using Power Platform and SAP. With the new SAP ERP Connector the configuration for using Kerberos has been simplified quite a bit! Martin Raepple walks us through and end-to-end process and some key configuration steps.

With the "Microsoft Sentinel solution for SAP applications" we also have an offering to help protect your SAP systems. It even got certified for RISE with SAP recently.
Yoav and Yossi from the Sentinel Product group and Sebastian and Martin who worked on some nice extensions for Sentinel and SAP join us to today to provide an updates on the latest development and show us demos on SAP Business Technology Platform and Sentinel and automatic user-locking with Teams.

In episode 139 of our SAP on Azure video podcast we talk about DR scenario for SAP Windows application servers, SAP Private Link in Action at FrieslandCampina and Part 3 of the SAP CDC Connector and SLT. Then we switch over to low-code.
Low-code and SAP are top of mind in a lot of my discussions with customers and partners at the moment. One reason might be the Power Platform and SAP roadshow that we just ran in Germany. We had stops in three cities and in all locations we had trouble fitting everyone in -- all shows were overbooked. Each event was fantastic and featured some amazing scenarios from partners and our customers.
Partners like Arvato, Almato, All for One Group, Infpulse, Orbis, NTT, msg, Syntax and Verovis joined us to present their Power Platform & SAP integrations. Marlene and Mahesh join us talk about their experience organizing this event.

In episode 138 of our SAP on Azure video podcast we talk about Azure Firewall enhancements, sector size of Azure Premium SSD v2, Microsoft Business Applications Launch Event, DSAG Working-group Open AI & SAP, Logic Apps Aviators Newsletter, SAP Developer Insights Survey 2023 and GitHub Codespaces for Students and Educators.
Then we talk about a very hot topic: OpenAI, ChatGPT, Copilot, Dalee, or Azure Open AI are currently mentioned almost everywhere. In the midsts to a lot of strange and completely useless scenario we can also see some gems popping up. Especially in the area of SAP and Open AI we see some cool use-cases from partners, the community and customers.
For todays show we have Chan Jin Park joining us. He has been working on a nice integration scenario that shows some of the ideas and potential scenarios that you can do when connecting SAP with large language models.

In episode 137 of our SAP on Azure video podcast we talk about an upcoming CAP and Cosmos DB Hackathon, news of Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Security Copilot, Reference architecture of an SAP BTP CAP application using GPT Models of OpenAI, 30 Days Of Azure AI and SAP CDC Connector and SLT - Part 2 - Initial Configuration by Bartosz. Then we welcome Manish Shah with us. One of the most popular topics at the moment is how to work with data from SAP in a Microsoft context. SAP Datasphere was recently announced by SAP and one of the key integration points was with Databricks which also is used by lots of customers on Azure. From a Microsoft side we recently released the SAP CDC Connector for Azure Data Fatory and Synapse which uses the ODP framework to integrate with SAP data. To make the integration with the ODP framework even more powerful, customers can use the SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Service (SAP SLT) which integrates with the ODP services and enables direct access to SAP tables. These tables are constantly monitored and changes are recorded and can be made immediately available to Azure. Manish introduces us to the topic and shows an end-to-end demo.

In episode 132 of our SAP on Azure video podcast we talk about how customers and partners can develop integration. Recently we had a great workshop with DSAG, the German Speaking SAP Usergroup, and 50 customers and partners. Based on an S/4HANA 2022 system we developed an integration using events in Microsoft Teams, showed how to load data in Excel, create a simple Bot and also build a small app in Microsoft Word to fetch data from SAP.
Together with Karl Kessler and Harish Bokkasam from SAP and Martin Pankraz and Bart Delanghe from Microsoft, we take a closer look at the workshop and how you can do it on your own.

In episode 130 of our SAP on Azure video podcast we talk about SAP ASE on Azure NetApp Files, SAP on Azure Oracle Performance scripts, Identity federation between Azure AD B2C and SAP Cloud, Reinventing search with a new AI-powered Microsoft Bing and Edge, Microsoft Roadshow about SAP & Power Platform and Events-to-Business Actions. Then we have Karsten Strothmann from SAP joining.
A few years ago, when I was still working at SAP I had often discussions with architects at customers about Events and Event Driven Architectures. At that time we painted a lot of interesting diagrams how events could drive a business. How implementing these event driven architectures would change the way how applications work, how things would become "more realtime" or also more resilient from a business operations points of view. However, at that time it was mostly theoretical.
If I look back the last few months, I have to say I see a huge shift: all of a sudden customers are actually implementing these event drive architectures and now the question is more: how can this be done?
Luckily SAP and Microsoft have been working on a good integration of SAP BTP Event Mesh and Azure Event Grid for some time and we currently have a beta running where customers can already experience the simplicity of integrating SAP events with Microsoft events.
