Hosted by shopaholic turned minimalist, Renee Benes, Renee will share with you pieces of her minimalist journey and how she used it as a tool for self growth. She and her blended family downsized their house by 2,000 finished square feet, decluttered over half their belongings, and she even went cold turkey on shopping. Her hope? To create the time, money, and space that would help her find herself and her real purpose in this life.

What started as a massive decluttering session turned into a mission of self discovery. Renee will remind you throughout the Unstuffed Podcast that our lives are so much bigger than the stuff we own. She will encourage you to declutter, let go, and slow down all in the name of healing your soul and finding purpose in your life.

This week I found myself struggling with a bath mat. For real. Even though I wasn't decluttering this particular item, I couldn't help but feel an emotional attachment to it which just reminded me of how painful the decluttering process can truly be. When we start decluttering our house, we can so easily think all we need is the right step by step organization process. The reality is that as we begin to create a clutter free home we just might find ourselves face to face with some hard emotional struggles.
