For the first time ever, Sadie’s sister, Bella Robertson Mayo, is getting real about her infertility journey. She opens up about the loneliness that’s come with it, the complicated feelings when friends announce pregnancies, and how she and her husband, Jacob, have been walking through years of unknowns together. Bella shares how this season has actually made their marriage stronger and how her faith in God has only grown deeper. She talks honestly about the grief that shows up often — and how scrolling through social media can sometimes feel like a punch to the gut. But even without all the answers yet, she’s found real strength in the Lord. Sophia Watts tells Sadie that the influencer life didn’t come easy to her at first—but it did to her then-boyfriend, now husband, Taylor! Sophia confesses that in the beginning, she felt like she had nothing to offer and preferred being behind the camera. But as her family grew—and continues to grow—she wanted to show people that her life isn't perfect, and that's a good thing! Sophia and Sadie then chat about marrying young, dreams of big families, and the decision to show their children on social media. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Jamie MacDonald shares her story of redemption, recovery, healing, and belonging with Sadie in this special conversation. From living in a house where her stepdad told her no music was allowed to now being a singer-songwriter, Jamie says she never doubted that God had a bigger plan for her life, even though she tried doing it her way for a long time. And now, while she says she still doesn't feel "qualified" to share about the Lord, her story and her gift of music and songwriting speak volumes about God's enduring power and love — and about how He uses her weakness to demonstrate it all. Sadie and Jamie talk about their moments of surrendering to God, their experiences being on tour, and Sadie shares why reading her Bible just for herself right now has been such a gift.  - Learn more about your ad choices. If you've ever felt like you don't have a place where you belong, Sadie's guest today, Lacy Abercrombie, can empathize! Lacy shares her story of trauma, pain, hurt, secret sin, and never feeling like she belonged — and how a snowstorm ended up being the moment she finally got serious about the Lord. Out of the pain she’s experienced in the church and with Christians, Lacy created her character “Jezziebeth,” whom you’ve probably seen in a reel or on TikTok!Lacy says she pretended to be a Christian for years and was very good at it — but when asked if she loved the Lord, she had to be honest and say, “No.” And this was right before she went on stage at a women’s conference to deliver her comedic monologue! You'll love Lacy's honesty, authenticity, and humor in this incredible conversation. And don’t miss her encouragement for singles — and why she’ll never say no to a meal stop at Chili’s!  - Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Every believer needs time in God’s Word — but where do we start? Sadie and Christian are joined by pastor and author David Platt who just released "How to Read the Bible," a guide to building a deeper relationship with God through Scripture. He challenges us not just to read, but to memorize and meditate on it. Sadie gets honest and shares that re-reading the Bible isn’t easy for her. She’s not one to revisit books or shows—but every time, God reveals something new. Then she asks the big question: Is AI like ChatGPT changing how we study the Bible? Should it? - Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Levi Lusko is a pastor, author, and good friend of Sadie and Christian's. Today, he's talking about his brand-new book, Blessed Are the Spiraling. Levi shares about a panic attack—or, as he called it, his "mid-life crisis"—that he experienced several years ago, which started him on a trajectory of seeking truth, God's leading, and inner healing in the years since. He offers tools for stopping the spiral when it's happening and cautions against making big decisions when emotions are high. For anyone who has found themselves in a spiral, you won't want to miss a second of this conversation! This Episode of WHOA! Breaking up is hard for everyone — and yeah, it's just the worst. It really is. Today, Sadie’s invited  her friends Liv Keinath and Lydia Walker to chat about how they knew it was time to end things with their exes (including a fiancé), the fear of letting go of “what could’ve been,” grieving the future they thought they’d have, and how they eventually found a way to move forward. And if you're feeling stuck in something that doesn’t feel right, they’ve got some seriously good advice and encouragement — and just know, you are so not alone in this. - Learn more about your ad choices. Sadie's mom, grandma, and great-grandma join her to talk about the joys, struggles, and balance of being a good wife — and mom! Mamaw Jo shares how she met and fell in love with her husband, Papaw Shack; Korie and Sadie talk about the dynamics between husbands and mothers-in-law; and 2Mama shares why mutual respect is so important in a marriage. Then, the ladies answer some audience questions, such as: Can people really change? How can you best prepare for marriage or having your first child? And why does the comparison game never bring fulfillment and joy? No marriage or family is perfect or has everything together all the time. It's just not possible — we're all different, with unique skills, strengths, and challenges. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Sadie and Christian are diving into the DMs to answer your questions! Are they nervous about adding baby #3? What are the baby names they will not be using? What are their best Uncle Si stories? They'll also address all the comments about their relationship — and Christian's sense of humor. You'll love this fun update from the Huffs! Learn more about your ad choices. Sadie's three good friends and former housemates — Laney (Rene) Pickens, Gracie Tucker, and Sarah Cash — are joining her to talk about dealbreakers for a potential spouse. Is age a dealbreaker? What about a difference in religion? Or having a past? And does the relationship you're in bring you peace? Laney and Sarah both share how they met their (now) husbands, and Gracie catches them all up on dating apps, casual dating, and why she's okay with waiting as long as it takes for God to bring her the right man to be her husband. Sadie, her mom Korie, and her husband Christian all tackle a messy conversation about cussing. Is it okay for Christians to ever cuss? What about replacement cuss words—is that okay? And ultimately, is any cussing a sin? What about cussing in movies or music? And swearing an oath? Sadie, Korie, and Christian dive into the Scriptures to read what God has provided to us as a guide. Topics like this are brimming with nuance and even cultural differences, depending on where you are in the world. So wherever you land in this conversation, remember that extending grace and reserving judgment is a great way to start! And never forget the power of the tongue—it can be a weapon or used for good! Bethany (Hamilton) Dirks and her husband, Adam, join Sadie for an uplifting and hopeful conversation about facing fears, dealing with trauma, and understanding how every trial and hardship has a purpose. Adam and Bethany share how they met—and how Bethany sometimes preferred surfing big waves to spending time with her then-boyfriend. Bethany admits she hated being famous, and she and Sadie discover that they both wrote books hoping they would never have to talk about their stories again—only to find that the exact opposite happened. Bethany explains that talking about the worst day of her life—when a shark attacked her, and she lost her arm—was perhaps the best thing for her in processing the horrific trauma. Sadie asks Bethany how she was able to face her fear of sharks and return to the water. Bethany encourages everyone to face their fears—just do it! Then, Adam and Bethany share some behind-the-scenes details about their season on The Amazing Race (Season 25) and how they almost didn't make the initial cut! - Learn more about your ad choices. CeCe Winans lives a life testifying to God's goodness in EVERY season. Her rendition of "Goodness of God" has had such an impact around the world, and today, Sadie gets to sit down for an in-person chat with this music legend. CeCe candidly shares some of her biggest regrets in parenting, why she wouldn't trade God for anything, and says that one of her greatest strengths is knowing that she NEEDS God. CeCe explains that the generations of women who influenced her in her marriage, relationship with God, and music career are the reason she started the Generations Live Conference, where she hopes to bring women from every age bracket together to learn from each other and encourage one another! As CeCe says, there's no way we should go to the grave without pouring out everything that God has poured into us. You'll be so encouraged listening to this conversation — and to CeCe's latest album, "Believe For It!" - Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Ben likes to run, and Donna doesn't, but if he had made that the issue while they were dating, they wouldn't be married today! He learned that he didn't *really* care about his girlfriend loving to run like he did, so it wasn't a dealbreaker! Ben Stuart's book, "Single, Engaged, Dating, Married," played an important part in the beginning of Sadie and Christian's dating relationship. Today, Ben and his wife, Donna, join Sadie to talk about all things singleness, how they started dating, how you know if the person you're dating is "the one," and why, in a new update of the book, Ben included a chapter on breaking up. Sadie talks about a defining moment for her when she fully intended to break up with Christian and how his reaction and statement completely changed her heart—she went from wanting to break up to wanting to marry him. Donna and Ben both share about their time apart when Ben asked for a pause and a letter-writing part for their relationship—and what that eventually proved to them both about the other. If you're in any of these phases, you won't want to miss this encouraging conversation about godly ways to approach finding a spouse. - Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Sadie's "Confession Hour" is a new practice that she treasures and has discussed in several episodes. Today, she's joined by some of her closest friends — Freddie, Elyse, Lydia, and Grace — who make up this special "Confession Hour" group. Sadie opens up about why confessing to her friends has been such a game-changer in so many ways, and she shares how fear kept her from doing this for so long. If you're wondering how to cultivate deeper, more authentic friendships and relationships, it might be time to start regularly confessing to one another! Not only is this a biblical practice, but it will also help you love and be loved for exactly who you are, enabling you to walk in freedom without shame while glorifying God!  - Learn more about your ad choices. Comedian John Crist joins Sadie in studio for a heart-to-heart, but first, he wants to know why Sadie left him on "read" for 7 years! Sadie asks John how he got started in comedy and where the line is with the jokes he tells. John recently celebrated five years sober, and he opens up about his rock bottom moment, when the whole world knew all about his mistakes, and how he's so glad he's on the other side of it now — walking in freedom, with restored relationships and authenticity. And does John have any jokes about Sadie? You bet he does! Watch John's comedy special "Emotional Support" on YouTube.  - Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Part of the reason I consider it would be wrong is where the words come from in your heart. Not a positive, Christ like model

On Fire For God!

I will say the part about your family not liking your spouse isn't always a sign/red flag. My family didn't know God at the time I met the one God wanted me with. They didn't like him for years for all of the wrong reasons...he had no money and was young so didn't have much motivation. But he grew up and is a great man of God now! And they like him, 15 years later!
