Description
What happens after the experiences of true crime survivors have been shared with the world? Does the media truly capture all it entails to survive such tragedy in the public eye? What comes after the convictions are in, the cameras stop rolling, and the court of public opinion has spoken? Can sharing our stories lead to justice, and is there ever really justice?
These questions and many more are discussed on the new true crime docuseries podcast brought to you by Broken Cycle Media (https://www.brokencyclemedia.com/) .
What Came Next (http://www.instagram.com/whatcamenext_podcast) is co-created and produced by Something Was Wrong (http://www.somethingwaswrong.com) ’s Tiffany Reese and host, award-winning writer, victim advocate and true crime survivor Amy B. Chesler (http://www.amybchesler.com) .

Roberta Blevins is a mom, business owner, consumer protection & victim advocate, and podcaster from Southern California. She began her professional life as a creative multi-hyphenate who juggled several different jobs and careers to provide for herself and her family. However, when she found out about LuLaRoe (a U.S.-based women's fashion company), she believed it would be the answer to her desire for simplification and success. Within a few years though, Roberta would realize - along with many other LuLaRoe business owners - that the company offered a much different reality. As a result, Roberta has gone on to share her experiences in the media - including the documentary LuLaRich, in her hit podcast Life After MLM, as well as in the courtroom for legal purposes. The Broken Cycle Media team is extremely grateful for Roberta’s advocacy and awareness work, as well as everything she shares with our audience today.

Still, her healing and advocacy continues as she works to break cycles in her own family. Alexis’s courage and strength amidst all that came next for her are a true example of the power of resilience.

Mindy Corporon is a speaker, author, founder, and CEO from Oklahoma. She attributes her personal and professional success to her loving, tight-knit upbringing. However, everything she knew to be true would be deeply challenged on April 13th, 2014, when her father and son were murdered in a hate crime. Mindy has allowed her faith and her unending fortitude born from her family, to withstand all that came next for them. This includes a legal battle to convict their murderer, the publication of her memoir, Healing a Shattered Soul, the creation of a foundation, and the unending mission to inspire others wading through the throes of grief. The Broken Cycle media team is very grateful Mindy is sharing her journey with us today, as well as for her continued advocacy work. I am also personally grateful for her sisterhood in survivorship, as we are lifelong members of the same sorority.
This episode is dedicated in loving memory to Reat Underwood, Dr. William Lewis Corporon, & Terri LaManno.

Lenora Claire is a survivor, advocate, producer, private investigator, and consultant from Los Angeles, California. Her career in entertainment and the arts skyrocketed in the early 2000’s, but were largely derailed when she began to face stalking at the hands of a perpetrator that also stalks several celebrities. Her experiences in the legal system, within the media, and in helping other survivors since have propelled her to redefine herself several times over. As a result, she serves the survivor community deeply in many different ways, no matter what continues to come next in her journey, and we are so honored she is sharing a portion of it all with us today.
