The tall-but-true tale of a charismatic outlaw, an iconic small-town sheriff, and the record-setting drug bust that ensnared them both. Set in the rugged Texas borderlands, host Rob  D’Amico transports listeners back to the U.S. side of the border for the opening salvo of the War on Drugs … where so much dirty money was swirling across the Rio Grande that even the most incorruptible citizens would be tempted. In the tradition of films like No Country for Old Men and Charles Portis novels, Witnessed: Borderlands mashes up the shockingly real and the deeply surreal, chronicling not just the events of a crime, but digging deep into the mystery and aura of one of America’s most myth-soaked regions. I'm loving the idea of your show; also well produced. However, maybe consider making longer episodes or less advertising? I'm wanting more info per episode rather than multiple episodes. Especially due to the long credits at the end of each episode as well. Anyhow, great job. Just a couple of ideas to make it even better

Being uncomfortable with facts about one community or another doesn't change them. And this lady is smart enough to know that. Minimizing or hiding those facts is disgusting, dishonest and disingenuous. And potentially dangerous. She knows that too. Instead of excusing or dismissing antisocial, violent proclivities, demand they change. Not that everyone else accepts and ignores the facts. No matter how much you lie or ignore a fact, it doesn't change.
