Description
Two Criminologists cover a new female-focused case each episode. You’ll hear the stories of these women, paired with the science that tells you where it all went wrong. We’ll explore the causes of female crime, victimology, the legal system, as well as celebrate heroines who have left their mark on the criminal justice system.
Dr Meghan Sacks and Dr Amy Shlosberg are both Professors of Criminology at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Both have years of first-hand experience working with offenders and professionals in the criminal justice system. They teach classes covering topics such as: Women & Crime, Race & Crime, Criminology, and Serial Killers.

Infuriating! My heart goes out to the boys family, especially their mother.
So tragic! I am glad the laws were changed.
Just so you are aware...Michelle Carter is from Plainville, MA and Tiana lived in Plainville, CT. Those are two different places!
I hate these parents. Ethan could have received help if his parents were more attentive.
Megan is thinking of Reno 911!

I just find it hard to believe that Rajeeve didn’t suspect his father due to the murder was such a random act, his family disowned him, and the cultural component.
Of course this was a hate crime! And that stupid remark about Christopher Newsom's rape ("were they homosexual")?! Rape isn't about sex, it's domination - the worst thing you could do to a heterosexual man.
Definitely not victim blaming, but I don’t think it’s a good idea to have your underage child’s partner living with you under any circumstances!
How traumatizing! I agree! These monsters should not have been paroled ever!
it was Tori spelling not drew Barrymore
Barely 10 minutes in and it's already bye-bye! Those hosts fell hook, line and sinker for Jasmine's BS just like everyone else. Disappointing!
Mercy. Please - please - can we get through one episode without "you see..." fillers. 🙏
I agree with Meghan on pretty much every point she made. A bit of a cringy episode to listen to. I hope someone else took over the prison project because it’s a shame that the dogs and inmates lost out because of someone’s really poor decision.
uh this isn't the Lucy Letby episode
The things people will do.
last episode was June?
just start listening, wonder what mattress ppl bought 🙄
I am a forensic nurse from Bastrop, La which is extremely small and have not heard anything about this case prior to this episode!!!!!!
Sorry but if I didn’t have other kids, this POS Lori would be dead. No way I would be able to control myself if she is at my door bating me.
