Description

Wrestling Observer/Figure Four Online has been providing the number-one pro-wrestling and mixed martial arts
podcasts and radio shows in the world since 2005. From 1998 to 2001, Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer hosted Wrestling
Observer Live, the most-listened-to streaming radio show at Eyada.com. In 2001 they moved their show to Sports Byline
USA and Sirius Satellite Radio, where it continues to air to this day with Alvarez and Mike Sempervive as co-hosts.
Alvarez and Meltzer have interviewed the biggest names in the sport over the past nearly two decades,
from Stone Cold Steve Austin and John Cena to Bruno Sammartino and Ric Flair. Listen to free podcasts throughout

Hear the full audio from Tony Khan's pre-AEW WrestleDream call on Thursday.
On a new Josh Nason's Punch-Out, Josh talks with longtime OVW wrestler Mike 'Cash Flo' Walden, aka Bigfoot in the breakout Paramount Plus hit Tulsa King. The guys talk about how he got his big opportunity, advice he received from Sylvester Stallone, whether his in-ring career is done, and more.
Andrew Zarian is back with an all-new Sunday edition of Wrestling Observer Live, discussing the latest professional wrestling news. Crown Jewel took place early Saturday morning, live from Perth, Australia. I talked about the show and overall thought it was a good show, but the highlight was John Cena versus AJ Styles. Additionally, I discuss Friday Night SmackDown and all the returns that occurred, including those of Tama Tonga and Shinsuke Nakamura. Plus, Zelina Vega is aligning herself with her real-life husband, Aleister Black, which led to a fireball on WWE TV for the first time in years. I also recap Collision that aired Saturday night, and the devastating injury to Kota Ibushi that looks to be pretty serious. I also preview next Saturday's Wrestle Dream. Plus, a Bound for Glory preview, the latest WWE releases/departures, and more!
On a brand-new Josh Nason's Punch-Out, Josh catches up with former WWE broadcaster Todd Grisham on his days in WWE, dealing with Vince McMahon, and his current role as a broadcaster for both DAZN boxing and Glory kickboxing. Todd even addresses winning two Wrestling Observer Newsletter Worst Announcer awards. All that awaits on a new and free JNPO.

Andrew Zarian is back from a summer break with an all-new Sunday edition of Wrestling Observer Live, catching up on all things professional wrestling. I start out catching up on things that happened this summer on my break, including the partnership between ESPN and WWE to carry all the PLEs. Why are they doing it, will it work, and how will it be perceived on a sports-centric network? The big story of the week happened on Friday Night SmackDown with the return of AJ Lee to confront Becky Lynch after she again attacked CM Punk in a well-done segment. I discuss the differences between when she left and the current landscape of women's wrestling, which she's now entering. I also discuss this week's AEW Collision, including FTR's presentation as 1980's throwback heels, and the nostalgic presentation in the 2300 arena. But does it resonate with a larger viewing audience? Plus, HBO Max is carrying AEW PPVs, Bryan Danielson is now on the AEW announce team, a Dynamite preview, and MJF gets married.

WWE is only going to bring talent onto their TV from TNA and AAA they want to bring to main roster so don't worry about NXT.

It's no surprise, like always another great Portland Wrestlecast. This isn't by any means meant to be disrespectful, in fact it's the exact opposite it's meant as a compliment. In my opinion Al Getz (who also does a great Podcast Charting the Territories) is the most interesting, coolest & absolutely without a shadow of a doubt the biggest nerd I've ever had the pleasure of listening to in my entire life and God blessing for it!
