Jon Jones says he’s retired… then says he’s not. You can’t build a business on that, and Chael explains exactly why. But the real story? Josh Hokit has arrived. Chael goes deep on Hokit’s breakout moment, from stealing the press conference and weigh-ins to delivering in the fight against Curtis Blaydes. Three personas, one star, and a crowd completely won over. This wasn’t hype, this was takeover. Plus, Arman Tsarukyan goes viral with the most unexpected dating advice in MMA, and it might be the most entertaining thing you’ll see all year. Chael also touches on Jiri Prochazka’s rematch push, Carlos Ulberg’s title win, and what’s really going on behind the scenes in today’s fight game. Chael unloads on the Prochazka–Ulberg title fight without apology: two wrong guys, neither one built this fight, neither one told you why it matters, and the guy who actually deserves to be there isn't even being discussed. Meanwhile Topuria is busy doing interviews about Islam instead of Gaethje . Chael Reacts to Moicano declaring his Duncan fight was garbage because it didn't help his YouTube page — completely right, just using the wrong end of the tool. Plus Jake Paul's wild pivot toward MMA opposite Nate Diaz, Plus Ask Uncle Chael. To support this program, please review it on Apple Podcasts or submit a rating on my Spotify page. Chael lays out the uncomfortable truth nobody wants to say out loud: if Alex Pereira beats Ciryl Gane at the White House, the UFC has absolutely no idea what to do with him. Tom's got an eye injury, Eddie Hearn, and a new manager telling him don't sign anything — so do you just hand Pereira the undisputed belt via press release? Because that's where this is headed. Meanwhile Jon Jones pulled over in a parking lot to teach a stranger the rules of the road with his hand in his pocket, and his PR team somehow made him the hero. Chael's not buying it. Plus why Jiri Prohaska should be embarrassed — you're the light heavyweight champion defending your belt this Saturday on a brand new network, and you spent your interview talking about a guy who beat you twice and left the division. That is not a champion. That is a mark. Moicano is the most slept-on name in the Conor sweepstakes, and why the NCAA Transfer Portal is basically the MLS listing for bad dirt. Chael debates who Arman Tsarukyan should fight next and whether the UFC should officially make him the backup for Justin Gaethje vs Ilia Topuria after Arman clarified he isn’t contracted as backup but will stay ready, and fly to DC if needed. Breaks down Sean Strickland vs Khamzat Chimaev, arguing the first round will reveal whose A-game decides the fight. Declares that Conor McGregor’s next opponent “doesn’t matter” for business, and reacts to Nate Diaz revealing he was offered a Conor fight. Discusses Paddy Pimblett’s 27-pound weight swing, Nate’s plans involving Mike Perry and Jake Paul, and whether fans truly anticipate Islam Makhachev’s next fight (possibly Michael Morales). Chael recaps Real American Freestyle in Florida, highlighting high schooler Bo Bassett finishing an Olympic champion 13–3, plus key results and storylines including Dylan Danis vs Colby Covington, Ian vs Giorgio’s heated rematch, Kyle Snyder edging Tazhudinov on criteria, and Kyle Dake continuing to win elite matchups. Then its on to the media-driven tension between Dana White and Jon Jones over a rumored $15M offer and Jones’ apparent focus on a White House card - Arman Tsarukyan claiming he’s backup for the White House main event and argues interim champ Ilia Topuria’s challenger should be ready. Finally, Chael says Conor McGregor’s UFC contract situation is resolved after a Dana meeting and believes McGregor returns soon, possibly at International Fight Week, speculating Ian Garry as an opponent. Chael reacts to Eddie Hearn finally saying he’ll promote MMA, arguing it’s a bad move because MMA requires a deep roster and nonstop event cadence, and that Hearn’s real battle is defending boxing as Dana White pushes into it. He discusses Israel Adesanya feeling underappreciated and critiques Khamzat Chimaev’s loss of momentum compared to his earlier “anyone, anytime” run, while crediting Adesanya’s past career steering. Chael addresses Joe Rogan calling the White House card a “gimmick,” arguing the rumored expectations got out of hand and the announced fights and storylines are strong without extra late-added title fights. He also says Conor McGregor is coming back soon but likely not vs Michael Chandler, explaining the UFC’s “brand promise” and why McGregor must prove himself against a top opponent, possibly Ian Garry, and closes by answering your questions during Ask Uncle Chael. Chael reacts to Eddie Hearn calling Tom Aspinall’s UFC contract a “disgrace” and advising him not to fight. Discusses Dana White letting slip a Conor McGregor vs Ian Garry matchup at welterweight (not in Ireland), and why it makes sense for the UFC. Then, what does Jon Jones saying he’d take less money for Alex Pereira, really mean? And finally, recaps standout NCAA finals production choices, and notes a coming Jake Paul opponent rumor involving Demetrious Johnson. Chael also reflects on Chuck Norris’s legacy and respect for grappling, then answers your “Ask Uncle Chael” questions ranging from Bo Nickal wrestling turns to why a Netflix-style MMA venture shouldn’t try to rival the UFC. Chael says Ronda is WINNING the media battles, thanks to a pay-per-view appearance and framing her return as “Rousey vs the UFC”. After Khamzat Chimaev and Sean Strickland’s sparring at Xtreme Couture, why have no third-party witnesses spoken. Chael previews Nate Diaz vs Mike Perry as a five-round curiosity and critiques headlines claiming Netflix-style one-off events are beating the UFC despite relying on UFC-made stars. More on the escalating feud between Colby Covington and Bo Nickal. And finally, Jon Jones turned down a UFC offer tied to the White House card. Chael had a front-row seat when the match between Georgio “Take Me Down, Win $1,000” Poullas and Arman Tsarukyan turned into an after fight BRAWL! Then, he reacts to Ariel Helwani’s suggestion of a rematch to settle unfinished business. Sonnen also talks about his belief Pereira may fight Ciryl Gane for a title on a White House card - covers Ian Garry calling out Islam Makhachev - and explains why Max Holloway vs Charles Oliveira 2 at lightweight will be very different from their first fight. Floyd Mayweather un-retires to face Manny Pacquiao in Mayweather vs Pacquiao 2 with his 50-0 record reportedly on the line, while UFC chaos erupts: Khamzat Chimaev is questioned as a “closet champion” amid Sean Strickland and Movsar Evloev talk, yet he calls out Alex Pereira at 205 as Pereira’s heavyweight/White House card buzz grows. He meant to say the range of HW is the largest of any, the gap between the divisions DC jumped is actually the least, there is no real gap, can be 206 at LHW(non title fights) and HW is 206-265lbs.

With him on Chito was the backup plan but somehow he weighed in at 136lbs... meaning he couldn't have fought for the title, would have been a non title fight and maybe the co-main, move the co-main title fight up to the main. How does he not weigh in a lb less, come on man...

At least be accurate with the info, it was Nebraska and UofM and one was named champ by one poll and other was named champ by the other poll before they started the BCS or playoffs. He also says can't have 2 champs but he's a big proponent of the interim title and constantly talks about how interim is a legit title, meaning when there's an interim champ the division has 2 champs...

Alex won 29-28, he took rounds 2 and 3, just trying to hold a guy down doesn't make up for the difference in significant strikes.

I'm going to bet that over 99% of title shots have come off a win. Also a comparison to NBA playoffs doesn't work, they play a best of 7 series and he's talking single fights, doesn't make much sense but uncle Chael's never let that get in the way lol

Chael needs to stick to things he knows, hemp and weed are very different, hemp is like NA veer it's about 0.3% and not gonna get much from it, hemp is very useful and many things can be made from it. Hemp has been a legal crop in the US for a while and was only banned for crazy and bs reasons. They are not the same and they've never just changed the name and sold weed as hemp as a way to get around things. States have simply decided 1 by 1 to change the marijuana laws. 🤡

Lol, every hoops player in college/NBA lifts weights they literally have dedicated strength coaches. Chael also told us he doesn't know how TUF even works, it's not a best of 8 or however many fights take place and whichever team has more wins in the end is the winning team, he could lose 7 of his 8 guys but that 8th one wins it Chandlers team lost that division. Pay attention bud.
