HalloweenChildren in America like Halloween very much. On the evening of the 31st,October, they put on special clothes for “ Trick or Treat”. The Mid-Autumn FestivalThe Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional festival in China. It is on August 15th according to Chinese Lunar calendar. It usually falls in September or October.On that day, people visit their relatives and eat a big family dinner. Mooncakes are very popular and they are very delicious . The Dragon Boat FestivalThe Dragon Boat Festival is very interesting and it is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month according to lunar calendar. People always eat rice dumplings and watch dragon boat races to celebrate it.The rice dumpling is made of glutinous rice , meat and so on. There are different kinds of rice dumplings and they are all very delicious. Chinese FestivalsWe are Chinese. For all of us, the Spring Festival is the most important festival. We pay Spring Festival visits to our relatives. We have firecrackers and we eat dumplings together. My little sister loves the Lantern Festival so much because there are lots of lanterns and dragon dances. My favorite transportsMany people like to travel by air because it’s fast, but I don’t like it because an airport is usually far from the city. You have to get there early and wait for a long time for the plane to take off. So I like traveling by trains and buses. I think they are safe and convenient. It’s easy to find a railway station or a bus stop in cities, when you are late for a train or a bus, you can always catch another one. When you ride a train or a bus, you can open the windows to enjoy the beautiful scenery on your way.
