Most people think that medication is the only way to go but that shouldn’t be the immediate and go-to solution for treating mental health illnesses such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, and others. There are natural therapies available which should highly be considered as treatments. 

Natural therapies offer a holistic approach that focuses on the overall well-being of an individual. I want everybody to know that these therapies work. And so, a part of my life’s mission, I would like to continue raising awareness all about the positive effects of natural therapies for ADHD, anxiety and mood.

Neurofeedback for ADHD, anxiety and mood disorders

It's important for people to know there are really solid evidence-based approaches that can change mental health that have nothing to do with medication. One of these is neurofeedback which has been around since the late 1960s. And so, it’s not surprising that there are thousands of research studies about it. One of the good things about it is that its effectiveness is science-backed. In fact, I have many clients from around the world who can attest to its positive effects. In some cases, we also couple neurofeedback therapy with PEMF for better results.

It is a technique that regulates the brain functioning at the brainwave level and supports neurotransmitters. It changes grey matter in the brain and it does it through a process of simple measurement and reinforcement.

We make use of electroencephalographic (EEG) neurofeedback to directly train specific regions of the brain as general neurofeedback is certainly not for conditions like PANS or people with multiple diagnoses. This is because of the lack of control that we have when it comes to general neurofeedback and because the appropriate treatment depends on the patient and their clinical issue.

Parents need to know that there are other remedies besides medication. Their kids could be doing neurofeedback instead and it’s more natural so it’s safe for their kids’ health. Research suggests that it may help individuals develop better focus, attention, emotional regulation, and overall cognitive functioning.

What does research say about PEMF?

If you’ve been following us for a while, you probably already know about our own FDA-approved regulation device called PEMF. Its protocols are designed in five clinical areas to support the nervous system.

That is why we really have to be conscious about what we eat. You can power up the brain even by making small changes. And so, what you want to do is to be analytical. You can consult with a physician and assess what nutrients are missing in your kid’s diet.

Vitamins are also essential nutrients that play crucial roles in maintaining overall health and well-being. Some vitamins, such as A, C, D, and E, are known to boost the immune system. Vitamins B1, B2, B3, and other B vitamins are also essential for the healthy functioning of the neurological system considering that they help produce neurotransmitters, which are necessary for brain function and nerve cell communication.

Personally, I highly recommend incorporating magnesium in your diet. Research studies show that magnesium improves attention, OCD symptoms, stress levels, and mood. The importance of using natural therapies.

Of course, these natural therapies will not be as effective if you’re not going to be consistent and committed. It’s going to take some time before you see a difference like any other treatment. You just have to trust the process and believe that everything’s going to be okay.

Patience is essential, as some therapies may require weeks or even months of consistent use before noticeable improvements occur. But, rest assured that these natural solutions that we have are safe, natural, and effective. So take a step towards natural solutions and be assured that your kid’s brain is going to work better.
