About 18% of women in the U.S. use antidepressants regularly. By far the most common antidepressants are the SSRI class. Both pregnancy and the postpartum period can be times of significant stress and mental health challenges, making the question of use of SSRIs during these periods a salient one for many people. Today, I'm going to discuss the data.
