Description

Berton Averre was the guitarist, songwriter and co-founder of The Knack, a mainstay of New Wave, which had the #1 song in 1979 with “My Sharona”. It stayed at the top of the charts for 6 weeks and sold 10 million copies. He later went on to a second career in musical theater.

My featured song is “Annie And Leni” from the album Bobby M and the Paisley Parade. Spotify link.
