I have the pleasure of speaking with Chef Jasmine Norton the executive chef & owner of The Urban Oyster .The company is both the first female and black-owned oyster bar in Maryland.Jasmine pursued a career in the restaurant industry, and began shucking and grilling oysters under the Urban Oyster name at the Fells Point farmers market in 2017.
