The Berkshire International Film Festival (BIFF) celebrates its 20th anniversary with a major new partnership: the European Unions Transatlantic Rising Stars Project. This initiative, funded by the EU, aims to strengthen cultural ties between Europe and the US. European film directors can apply for the project, which includes a Filmmaker Summit at BIFF and a European Filmmakers Showcase. Selected directors will also participate in a two-week exploration of the American film scene. Applications open from December 2, 2025, to January 16, 2026, on the European Union Delegation to the US website.
