Kudos to Florida for getting Exantus off the streets, and shame on my home state of KY for letting him out in the first place.
Columbus Day and Native American Day overlap, to wit: many Native Americans would still be living in squalor, bloody tribal wars, starvation, and extreme physical pain and suffering - absent Western Civilization. Native Americans have much to celebrate in Columbus Day and the admittedly-harsh iintroduction of Western Civilization to a New World.
