that second story is frustrating as hell, since the listener did everything correctly but wasn't taken seriously. the cops didn't want to do anything until Bob escalated to threatening them, but if they had intervened previously in a substantial way, they wouldn't have been put in that situation. cases of stalking and harassment need to be taken seriously because stalkers/harassers will continue to escalate until they are stopped.
that first story stressed me out
That first one sounds like a homeless tweaker trying to live in her basement or rob her.
