The story about the boy scouts in the chapel is obviously a work of fiction. It's good tho!
I also taste blood when I run. I thought everyone did. Glad to know I'm at least not the only one!!
It was probably a fox heard by the jogger who was lost in the woods. Foxes have a cry that sounds like a young human child crying in distress. It is actually quite unnerving to hear if you don't know the origins of the sound.
