Description
Patriarch Harrison Blackwood welcomes his family home for Thanksgiving at their ancestral estate. As his pregnant daughter Elizabeth, troubled son Michael, perfectionist daughter Sarah, and others arrive with their families, something stirs within Blackwood House. Young Emily sees her long-missing grandmother in mirrors, while her cousins display disturbing behaviors. Harry's careful preparations hint at darker purposes, and the house itself seems to hunger. Through his sophisticated but increasingly unsettling narration, we learn that every family has traditions, and every feast requires a sacrifice.
