Jason Kelce joins the show to give a first-hand account of how the conversations with the NFL owners and Jeffery Lurie went. Also hear the Morning team’s reactions to Jihaad Campbell’s interview from yesterday. Will he be ready for the season to start? Joe DeCamara thinks the Phillies are really answering the bell. Jody Mac, in for Jon Ritchie, thinks some may retort that the Phils aren’t playing any good teams, but makes it clear that the Phillies need to beat the bad teams in order to make it to the post-season. The Phillies’ pitching comes into view- could a young pitcher like Andrew Painter start in the playoffs? They also wondered if Aaron Nola might go to the bullpen.
