The Morning Show reacted to the Mavericks surprisingly getting the 1st overall pick in the NBA Draft last night during the NBA Draft Lottery. Something seems a little fishy- after years of these “miracles” happening for specific teams, the Morning team thinks the draft is probably rigged in some way. Tom wants the Sixers to rebuild by keeping their #3 pick and trade Paul George and Joel Embiid, but Jon Ritchie disagrees saying Embiid might be back and healthier than ever next season. They also discussed Bryce Harper's slump with Ruben Amaro Jr., who was in-studio. The MVP has had a slow start this season and still doesn’t quite seem to be on track. The Eagles host the Cowboys to start the 2025 NFL season- some are excited to rub the banner in Jerry Jones’ face, others don’t think the Cowboys are worthy of being on the same stage as the Super Bowl Champion Eagles.
