On episode 27 of Behind the Notes, we welcome drummer, educator, and accomplished bandleader - Gina Knight!

Gina Knight, the dynamic, multifaceted drummer has been active in the Chicago music scene for 25 years, and attributes her staying power to getting a chance to play out very early in age, and performing with a variety of different acts, rather than just focusing on one genre.

These days, Gina is enjoying being a first call sub for a number of different busy groups in town, as well as her steady gig "Nick@Knight!" Her favorite accomplishment is her instructional body of work known as "Drum Lessons Girl" on youtube. She has many youtube videos that help young drummers learn to play, and they are all featured on her Gina Knight Youtube channel.
