The Russian invasion of Ukraine has shook up the world and most of the sporting world is asking for bans and boycotts for Russian teams and events. Our host Darren Campbell thinks that every Russian athlete should be barred from competing in any athletic endeavor individual or team sport.
The conversation started with talking about the UFC card from Vegas this past weekend. Islam Makhachev won the main event with a TKO over Bobby "King" Green. According to Darren he should never have been allowed to compete and the UFC is another league that should be banning any Russian from competing going forward. The NBA is fully into the second half and there is a good exchange about the biggest trade of the season with James Harden and Ben Simmons switching teams. Harden had a historic start to his career with the Philadelphia 76ers while Ben Simmons had a setback in his attempt to return to play this season. We all look forward to seeing how this trade works out years from now! We spent some time discussing both conferences and the top 10 teams in each and how they have been playing lately.
