Description

Episode No. 7 of the Irish Illustrated Interviews podcast series features offensive lineman Aaron Taylor, a 2021 College Football Hall of Fame inductee, Super Bowl Champion, and Notre Dame legend.

He played for the Fighting Irish from 1990 to 1993, becoming a consensus and unanimous All-American in his final two seasons and winning the 1993 Lombardi Award.

In 1994, the Green Bay Packers selected in the first round with the 16th overall pick. Three years later, he started in Super Bowl XXXI, with the Packers defeating the New England Patriots, 35-21.

He later signed with and played for the San Diego Chargers in 1998, but injuries forced him to retire a year later.

Our conversation spans his entire playing career and more. Plus, we dive into his tenure as an analyst, first with ABC Sports and then now at CBS Sports Network, where he currently covers college football.

Lastly, we delve into his role in creating and administering the Joe Moore Award, named after Notre Dame's legendary offensive line coach.
