According to settlement tracking group Peace Now, the Israeli government has seized more Palestinian land for settlements in the West Bank this year than at any time in the last three decades. Now, some synagogues in the U.S. and Canada are being criticized — and picketed — for hosting real-estate fairs that pitch property for sale in Israel and the Occupied Territories to North American Jews.
