Q&A

  • What are the key strategies employed by the traitors in "Traitors"?

The traitors utilize a combination of deception, manipulation, and alliance-building to eliminate faithful players. They aim to create chaos and sow distrust among the faithful, making it difficult to identify them.

  • How does the "mob mentality" affect the gameplay in "Traitors"?

The mob mentality leads to impulsive decisions and a lack of independent thought. Players often follow the lead of others, even if it contradicts their own judgment, resulting in unpredictable eliminations.

  • What role do pre-existing relationships between contestants play in the show?

Pre-existing relationships from other reality shows significantly impact the alliances and dynamics. These relationships can create both advantages and disadvantages, influencing trust and suspicion.

  • What is the significance of the shields in the game?

Shields provide immunity from being murdered during the night. The strategic use of shields, including revealing or concealing their ownership, is crucial for survival and manipulation.

  • What are the overall goals of the faithful and the traitors in the game?

The faithful aim to identify and eliminate all the traitors, while the traitors aim to eliminate all the faithful. The ultimate goal is to be among the survivors at the end to win the prize money.

  • What was the most significant strategic move in this episode?

Boston Rob's decision to publicly name Tony as a target, despite the risk, was a bold strategic move, though some argue it was unnecessarily cruel. Dylan's decision to remain quiet and observe was also a strategic choice.

  • How did the editing influence the viewers' understanding of the events?

The editing created suspense by suggesting Gabby overheard the traders' conversations, but it remained unclear whether this was actually the case. This ambiguity keeps viewers engaged and guessing.

  • Who are the main players to watch in the next episode?

Boston Rob, Dylan, and the "deer" alliance (Khrushal, Niki, and Gabby) are key players to watch, as their actions will significantly impact the game's outcome. Carolyn's actions will also be crucial.

  • What are the potential outcomes of the "murder" challenge?

The traders could either eliminate a rival or place a "faithful" player on the list to create suspicion. The outcome will significantly shift the power dynamics within the game.

  • What are the hosts' predictions for the next episode?

The hosts predict that Robin, Dylan, and Derek will be the three players nominated for "murder," but acknowledge this is largely speculation. They anticipate a significant shift in alliances and power dynamics.

Show Notes

Playing catchup, Kellie and Amy pick apart Episodes 2 and 3 of The Traitors. Both of predicted who would be the first murdered amongst the faithful and one of them was right!

The ladies are finally getting familiar enough to remember everyone's names, but when did Chanel become Ayan?? Kellie realized she didn't pay close enough attention to host Alan Cummings' instructions from Episode 1, but clears up that confusion.

Kellie and Amy take issues with some of the Traitors' strategies AND their attitudes! They want to see Dylan Efron protected at all costs. And both agree that the competition in Episode 3 should've been edited out completely.
