The Boston Celtics returned to the win column and avoided losing a 2nd straight game for the 1st time this season with a 108-89 win over the Miami Heat at TD Garden Monday night.  With Monday night's win, the Celtics are now 4-0 on the back end of their 4 back-to-back games this season. Jaylen Brown led the Celtics with 29.  Derrick White hit 5 3's and had 19 Points, 8 Assists and 6 Rebounds in his return to the starting lineup. Jayson Tatum had a double-double with 18 Points & 11 Rebounds. The Celtics hit 19 3's in the win and have won 8 of 9 and improve to 17-4 overall.

Payton's 4-Game Stretch: Payton Pritchard hit 5 3's and scored 25 in the victory over the Heat.  Pritchard has gone for 20 or more in a season-high 4 straight games and has hit 21 3's during his current 4-game stretch.  He hit 22 3's in a 4-game stretch earlier this season.

Block Party: Luke Kornet made his 3rd start of the season and tied a career-high with 6 Blocked Shots.  The Celtics had 9 Blocks in the win.  The Celtics are 10-0 when Kornet is in the starting lineup going back to last season.

1st-Half Nuggets: The Celtics hit 3 3's in the 1st Quarter and had 7 assists on 10 made field-goals in the 1st.  Boston led by 3 at the end of the 1st Quarter with Jayson Tatum knocking down a 3 in the closing seconds.  Payton Pritchard scored 11 of his 16 1st-Half Points in the 2nd Quarter.  Jaylen Brown also had 16 in the 1st Half.  The Celtics held the Heat to 20 Points in the 2nd Quarter and led by 15 going into the locker room at Halftime.

Giving the Ball Up: The Celtics had a season-low 17 assists in Sunday's road loss to the Cavaliers.  The Celtics had 15 assists on 21 made field goals in the 1st Half Monday night.  The Celtics finished the game with 25 Assists.

Who's In? Who's Out?: The Celtics were without Kristaps Porzingis, Al Horford and Jrue Holiday for Monday night's home match-up against the Heat.  Jayson Tatum, Derrick White and Jaylen Brown were all questionable during the day, but all 3 were in the starting lineup.  Jordan Walsh was in the starting lineup for the 1st time this season and it was his 2nd career NBA Start.  The Heat were without Jimmy Butler for Miami's 1st meeting of the Regular Season with the Celtics.

A Look Ahead: The Celtics are off on Tuesday and host the Detroit Pistons at TD Garden Wednesday night.  Celtics are home against the Milwaukee Bucks and also host the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday to conclude a stretch of playing 6 games over 1 2 3 4 5 6
