The dog handler, John Preston, was found out to be a total fraud and his dog wasn't capable of doing the job correctly. His claims even went to court and he noted out of town instead of testifying. I love Crime Junkies but I'm skeptical of how much research they place into their stories.

Steve said he drove the car, then Gina dropped him off somewhere after no?! So surely that’s enough to show he was lying...since the car was found with the seat still pushed back. Not at where she usually drives it, which is what would have happened had she drove it after him Or am I missing something?
