On November twelfth, a special screening of the Manic Street Preachers documentary, Escape From History, will take place, focusing on the creation of their breakthrough album, Everything Must Go, following the disappearance of lyricist Richey Edwards. The film, directed by Kieran Evans, premiered in two thousand seventeen and features demos of tracks like No Surface All Feeling and Small Black Flowers That Grow In The Sky. Edwards was last seen in February nineteen ninety-five, and his disappearance led to the bands successful album, which won Album of the Year at the NME Awards and several BRIT Awards. The screening marks the thirtieth anniversary of the albums recording sessions and will be followed by a Q&A with James Dean Bradfield and director Kieran Evans.
