Bad news out of College Station. Texas A&M tailback Rueben Owens will miss the entire 2024 season after suffering an injury during the weekend. Meanwhile, there might be a quarterback controversy at Iowa. Northwestern transfer Brendan Sullivan might challenge Cade McNamara for the starting job.

Colorado coach Deion Sanders held a bizarre press conference Friday that included shutting out the local CBS affiliate for, um, reasons and a random question about Aflac that felt like a plant. Sanders doesn’t sound ultra confident after a week of practice, but Andy explains why he wants unhinged press conferences the rest of the way from Coach Prime.
