On June 4th, 2019 shortly after 5pm, longtime friends Carnell (Nell) Sledge and Katherine (Kate) Brown arrived at the Rocky River Reservation in Fairview Park, Ohio. The two met at the pull-off lot north of the Lorain Road bridge. They both were shot and killed while sitting at a park bench next to the river. Anyone with information regarding these murders is asked to call the FBI’s Cleveland Field Office at 216-622-6842.
