Description
Back in 1917 radium was all the rage. The fact that it glowed made people believe it was healthy and important, so they included it in things like toothpaste, cosmetics, even water. The Radium Girls, factory workers who used radium-laced paints to detail watch faces, were among the first to indicate that it may not be as safe as we imagined. Charlie McElroy is here to tell us about their fight for workplace safety.

Catching up, just got to the Radium Girls episode of #Sawbones and had a blast listening to Charlie recap!
One of my favorite episodes. I need more of Charlie co-hosting this show!
This was such a fun episode... I do have one complaint though- no way Charlie is only 7! She speaks more eloquently than my 18 yr old son!... all jokes aside, excellent work Charlie!! I'd love to see you back in the future.
She's so much like Justin in voice and mannerisms and stuff omg
Great work, Charlie!!!! So well done! OMG, this whole episode made me smile so much...apart from the women who died :/ but holy cow Charlie's enthusiasm was contagious and her skill was phenomenal.
ok this is my favorite one, Charlie is the best! And being honest and still deferring the questions about syphilis was hilarious.
This is my favorite Sawbones episode, hands down! Charlie is exactly the kind of kid we need more of. Keep up the great work, Charlie!
Charlie kicks ass
oh my god. charlie is adorable!
