Favorite thing about this conviction is that he maybe could have "gotten away with it," had he not been obsessed fascinated with his crime and come forward. Next, paraphrase of bloody muddy eyewitness, looked at cross, and answered NO. I'm a woman I don't go around helping men with blood on them in the wilderness. Question is commentary on how society does not acknowledge the difference of strength between men and women in crime circumstance. Most men don't get that internally.
Thumb screws analogy, especially in light of the tear through the blood and wounds, was offensive. If I am Abbie and Liberty's mom this makes me obsess whether my daughter would have chosen, at least in hindsight as a 20 something woman, to have undergone thumb screws and come home alive. This was absurd.
