It’s Kickoff week. Finally. Peter welcomes in Fox Sports’ number 1 announcer Greg Olsen to preview the Bears-Packers showdown that he’ll be on the call for. Greg also details his Super Bowl debut on the microphone, from the pregame buildup (where he nearly missed his pregame hit) to the halftime show (Mahomes’ ankle nearly ruined the performance for him) to his postgame adventure home of inexplicably taking a Red Eye back to Charlotte after the game. Greg and Peter then draft the three teams they each think are going to make “the leap” in 2023. Lastly , a few thoughts on the passing of Jimmy Buffett… an American icon and NFL super fan.
