The Susan Powell Case Files | Angel of Hope | 18
Description
Nearly 10 years have elapsed since Susan Powell's disappearance. Her body has still not been found. The investigation remains a cold case. In recent years, Susan's friends and family have focused their effort on sharing the story as a cautionary tale. They hope showing the warning signs of domestic abuse can help others safely escape dangerous relationships. In this season finale for Cold, Dave shares his theory on what he believes happened to Susan.
For the past three years, investigative reporter Dave Cawley has been studying thousands of police documents, journals, videos and diary entries. He has tracked down new sources, followed new leads and traced Josh Powell's trail from West Valley City, Utah, through Idaho, Oregon, Nevada and on to Washington State, where Powell killed himself and his two sons. Cold is the most complete retelling of the Susan Powell story ever. Join Dave Cawley in his search for truth.

I'm sorry, but Flexeril is just not that strong of a drug. Now, if he had Soma, your theory may make more sense, but certainly not Flexeril. I have zero tolerance, but could easy pop 10 of the strongest Flexeril and still absolutely function at 100%. I still agree that he did give her something in the "cream cheese pancake" -- but not Flexeril. Whatever he gave her, he gave her all he had, and there was nothing left to find.
Very Good Podcast. Your investigation skills are excellent. I have issues with your description of some animal and feces, found early in the story, went a little too long and descriptive I nearly lost my breakfast and I work in Health care. 🤢 Some background music was not appropriate, only a few tines making it hard to concentrate on what was being said. Otherwise top notch. I hope Chuck and Jennifer and their families are doing well. They worked hard to help those boys. Susan, I can understand wanting to see and work on the marriage, she complained but seems to not want to help herself. maybe her motivation was just gone. But it would be a cold icy day in Hell, the day a man or anyone would take my paycheck. The Powell Family, all I can say is WOW, and the Mother Terri, just as guilty, How she let her children live with an apparent pedophile, from what is described early on from when the children were with Steve and Terri, Warning Signs were evident. Police aren't p
I agree with your take of what happened. he was planning it for a while and was too narcissistic to see he flaws .but I guess he never got caught si there's that
Its tough to hear Ellis portrayed in such a positive light. I'm sure Ellis is a good man and probably a good cop but he botched this investigation from the beginning.
