Description
August 6, 2025 -
Season 16, Episode 6 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning show, which was recorded late Tuersday night, Alex Kozora and I get right to discussing the recent hand injury suffered by Pittsburgh Steelers rookie QB Will Howard. We discuss the probability that Howard will miss all of the preseason and how the team might add another quarterback to the roster on Wednesday because of that.
After wallowing in the Howard injury news quite a bit. Alex and I then discuss the health of the rest of the roster heading into Wednesday’s training camp practice. We also go over other roster-related news that includes one recent transaction that the Steelers made.
The Steelers released their first depth chart of the 2025 offseason on Tuesday, so Alex and I go over what is right and wrong with it ahead of the team's first preseason game on Saturday night.
Alex and I look ahead a little bit to the first preseason game on Saturday against the Jacksonville Jaguars and that includes us going over training camp performances of several players on the roster.
HC Mike Tomlin spoke to the media after the team's Tuesday training camp practice, so we recap that short press conference during this show.
Later in this show, Alex and I discuss Steelers OLB T.J. Watt wanting to switch sides more in 2025 and if DT Cameron Heyward should think about doing the same.
This 66-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted in the recap, and we make sure to answer a few listener questions at the very end.
