The Grammys take the main stage with call outs and album announcements and celebrity snubs. Is Taylor headed to over saturation? Will the new poets society be a total snooze? Did Celine Dion deserve a hug? It’s a long roundup but we spare some time for Justin Timberlake slander (46:45) before diving into our love it or hate it (52:05).
It's the 250th episode! In honor of all the movies Shelby and Matt have sat through, they’re announcing their own Oscar (PSer?) nominations. Listen as they build out a ballot for best actor, best screenplay, best director, etc. etc. etc. from their own accursed archives. Since most of the things they’ve covered are bad, you know it’s bound to be good.
The Oscars have a certain demographic enraged (0:35). Bradley Cooper is officially Gigi Hadid’s new arm candy (21:20). SNL tries to make Justin Timberlake happen (23:45). For love it or hate it (28:35), Shelby rails against the machine in Netflix’s American Nightmare and Matt thinks everyone is talking about The Traitors.
Shelby and Matt keep their tradition alive with a SIXTH ANNUAL movie preview roundup where they take a guess at the movies they're looking forward to as well as the ones they're sure to hate. From superhero spinoffs to vampiric remakes, it's a lineup of the best--and worst--coming out in 2024.

Mean Girls the Musical the Movie is officially out and fans are saying it’s absolutely *not* fetch. Shelby and Matt walk through its various iterations as they try to decide what is and is not working for this zillennial rebranding.
Things go off the rails pretty quickly, but there’s conspiracies around the new movie Argylle (2:05), Selena Gomez making another questionable decision (16:45), Matt stanning Matt’s, Bradley Cooper’s directorial demands, and Ava Duvernay’s Oscar odds (25:40). For love it or hate it (32:10), Matt remains team Ariana and Shelby rants about awards darling The Holdovers.
