This is because the Israeli government wants to present itself as a powerful and invincible giant, which will not be stopped by anything and will show no mercy to anyone. while in fact it is distorting his image. Contrary to what he thought, when people see his crimes and violence, they don't think to themselves, "Oh! What a powerful and glorious army!". Rather, they see a cowardly army whose biggest achievement in 50 days of war was attacking hospitals and killing unarmed civilians and children
