Ador Sues NewJeans Member for $30M
Update: 2025-12-31
Description
Ador, the K-pop label behind NewJeans, has filed a lawsuit against former member Danielle, seeking damages of around thirty million dollars. The suit also names a family member of Danielle and ex-CEO Min Hee-jin as defendants. This follows Adors decision to end its contract with Danielle amid ongoing drama with the group. The dispute began last fall when HYBE fired Min Hee-jin, who helped create NewJeans, over claims she tried to make Ador independent. The band then accused the label of manipulation, mistreatment, and harassment, while Ador denied these charges. NewJeans attempted to relaunch as NJZ but were blocked by courts. Now, some members have rejoined Ador, while others are still in discussions. The lawsuit and its details have not been disclosed by HYBE or Ador. Checkout Solipillow.com
