This discourse is the fourth and final part to the series from ‘the book of kindness’.
In this chapter Om Swami reads out the terrifying ordeal of a father and a mother who go through a living nightmare of not knowing if their daughter swept away in the tsunami was alive or not for twelve agonising years. On hearing from Om Swami that their daughter died that very day when the tsunami struck, though, they were very grieved, they were able to shed their guilt at last for not being able to find her all those years. Om Swami says that though intuition helped him to guide the parents, it was kindness that healed them. He says everyone can tap into the intuitive consciousness and can be supremely mindful. He says that though meditation and mantra chanting are important, our hearts can bloom only if we practice kindness.
