Jerry Kasenetz, co-founder of the bubblegum music production duo, passed away at 82 due to fall complications. Alongside Jeff Katz, they produced six million-selling singles in 1967-68, including five top-five hits. Notable tracks include The Music Explosions Little Bit o Soul and Ohio Expresss Yummy Yummy Yummy. Kasenetz was born in Brooklyn and met Katz at the University of Arizona. They revived Ram Jams Black Betty in 1978, though no Grammys were awarded. Kasenetz is survived by family and Katz, who continues to age 82.
