Nl: Maarten en Lotte stonden aan het begin van hun avontuur in de kleurrijke wereld van de Keukenhof.
En: Maarten and Lotte stood at the beginning of their adventure in the colorful world of the Keukenhof.

Nl: De herfstkleuren om hen heen waren betoverend, maar Maarten had maar één doel voor ogen.
En: The autumn colors around them were enchanting, but Maarten had only one goal in mind.

Nl: "Lotte, die zeldzame tulp, hij bloeit vandaag ergens hier!
En: "Lotte, that rare tulip, it's blooming somewhere here today!"

Nl: " zei Maarten enthousiast.
En: Maarten said enthusiastically.

Nl: Lotte glimlachte, deels uit liefde voor haar vriend, deels omdat ze wist dat dit weer zo'n dag zou worden.
En: Lotte smiled, partly out of love for her friend, and partly because she knew it was going to be one of those days again.

Nl: Ze liepen over de kronkelige paden tussen de bloembedden.

Nl: "Plots zagen ze tussen de oranje en gele kleuren van de herfst een glimp van iets bijzonders.

Nl: Daar stond de legendarische tulp, stralend en alleen, omringd door een klein hek.
