The Democratic Party had major wins in New York City with the newly elected mayor Zohran Mamdani, in the New Jersey and Virginia gubernatorial races, and on Proposition 50, the California redistricting vote. What does this mean for the Democratic Party as well as the Republican Party (as they were Tuesday’s big losers)?
