In June of 2012, the dismembered body parts of 23-year-old Jaren Lockhart began washing ashore on various beaches in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. In tracing Jaren’s last known whereabouts, the police learned that she was last seen leaving work with a woman in her late 20's and a man in his late 30's. As the police began investigating this duo, it became clear that the couple was anything but normal and their bizarre spiritual beliefs may have led them to perform a gruesome human sacrifice.

Margaret and Terry also apparently knew Jaren and sometimes worked with her too. Margaret was also apparently a stripper occasionally. Don't think the jealousy theory of the crime makes as much sense. It seems more like the usual way, luring someone to their horrible death by taking advantage of the fact you are known to them and maybe trusted by them. Totally premeditated. The cleanup and the "lack of evidence" is evidence of that. The cop is all like "you-ll never see your children again". Margaret really doesn't seem like a person who cares about her children.
ugh the Zack and Addie case. so damn disturbing. One particularly disturbing aspect of that case is a dude confesses to murdering, dismembering, and cooking a woman, feeling no remorse, going to "good strippers" .... and some female is all like "oh he was such a great guy, he must have had the stress or something" ..... Christ Jesus. "manslaughter" for a thrill killing, Christ Jesus that is really wrong too. it is more wimpiness in the Court Room.
I dont know why but the note he left bothers me. he quoted Metallica with the "fuck it all fucking no regrets" part and I don't know if that means anything to the case but it really sits with me...
Sounds to me like she got the idea of dismemberment from the previous incident.

jaren was a friend of mine and although she had issues with drugs she was a beautiful soul that didn't deserve what happened to her #justiceforjaren #ripjaren

the Detective is absolutely wrong that a single stab wound would have caused a bloody crime scene around the apt. some wounds, particularly to the heart will cause massive internal bleeding and immediate death. the blood pools in the chest cavity. curious though if they inspected the pipes in the home they shared where they suspected she was dismembered in the tub.
the phone audio interview of the investigator is such low quality it shouldn't have been used period. even with using headphones i couldn't understand him.

hmm u know it can be ad free ..... but what really screwed up this episode was whenever that officer I guess is the officer was doing the talking obviously a speaker phone and recording doesn't work well cuz I thought it was like a Charlie Brown Episode it was good until he spoke I didn't understand anything he said cuz on top of it he had a really strong New Orleans accent. but I love Mike and I love sword and scale!
Way to screw up the episode with all the stupid ads
