being in this position of watching a loved one slowly kill themselves (in whatever manner) is very emotional. I watched my mother do it with alcohol and all I could dog was try and make her smile when I could. I knew the cause of her pain was much deeper than I could reach but I definitely tried to bring her peace whenever I could before she succeeded! this was a beautiful podcast!!!
Best podcast ever.
someone asked how I could be so excited for this show based on the 53-second teaser, and part of my answer was CHAPPELLE. And boy was I ever right -- this first episode bears out the evidence of Chappelle's excellence. What a fantastic, moving, and affectionate beginning to what appears will be a Top Shelf podcast! Bravo!
